The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to devices and mechanisms for machine tools, and can be widely used in metalworking for turning parts with an internal ellipsoidal surface of various sizes.

A device for turning a part with an internal ellipsoidal surface, comprising a cutter, a toolholder, a pusher, a base and guide fingers, according to the invention, further comprises a cam, which is fixed on a shaft pressed in the bearings of a plate and a plate with a curved groove, which displaces the pusher to a distance depending on the eccentricity of the cam, and thereby drives the toolholder. At the meantime, the cutter moves along the trajectory of the guide pin in the curvilinear groove on the plate with a curvilinear groove, and the pusher is made of cylindrical shape, equipped with a roller that touches the cam. The device for turning a part with an internal ellipsoidal surface provides high-precision turning of complex surfaces of parts due to the smoothness of the cutter feed and the uniform movement of the cutter holder along the trajectory of the guide pin in the curved slot on the curved slot plate. The dependence of the cutter feed on the cam profile allows machining complex surfaces of parts made of metal alloys and organic glass without the use of CNC machines.
