A method of manufacturing a lightweight layered composite material, in which the package consists of metal plates, which is impregnated with a solution of aluminum or its alloys with titanium and maintained at a certain temperature. For impregnation, plates of titanium reinforced with titanium boride with a thickness of 1-5 mm are used, between which aluminum foil is laid. At the same time, aluminum or its alloys without fluxes are used, impregnated and maintained at an aluminum melt temperature of 710-760 °C, holding time – 10-60 minutes.
