The invention relates to metal forming. A method of manufacturing a double cladded diffusion welded and superplastic formed product from at least five sheet blanks comprises applying a material to one of the blanks at selected areas to prevent diffusion welding and placing it between two sheets forming the inner cladding of the package, heating to the required temperature and applying pressure outside the package to join the blanks by diffusion welding, adding the outer lining sheets to the package, heating to a superplastic temperature and applying a pressurized working medium between the inner lining sheets and said inner sheet, wherein the inner lining is not connected to the outer lining, and stiffeners are formed from the inner sheet and inner linings. The invention provides a defect-free aerodynamic surface and rigidity of the internal structure of the products.
