Method for purification of ethyl alcohol includes preparatory stage and two main stages, at one of which alcohol is purified from part of impurities in the form of aldehydes, acids and esters to obtain raw alcohol. At another stage, alcohol is purified from fusel oils to obtain alcohol-ethanol with high purification rates, followed by preparing the sorbent for a new purification cycle. The preparatory stage consists of loading the crude alcohol into the reaction tank and pumping it through a heat exchanger to warm up to a temperature of 40-50 ° C. Further, at the stage of purification from a part of impurities in the form of aldehydes, acids and esters, alcohol is passed through a primary membrane apparatus in which membranes in the form of tubes are installed, through which alcohol flows inside the tubes. Impurities diffuse on their outer surface, after which they condense as steam on the wall of the device and are discharged from the outside as a liquid. At the second main stage, for cleaning fusel oils, the obtained raw alcohol is fed to an adsorption membrane apparatus, where a sorbent in the form of membranes with a working surface of 0.2 m2 is added to the alcohol, which collects the remaining impurities. Purification is carried out for the time required to purify the entire volume of raw alcohol to almost pure ethanol. Purified ethanol is removed from the apparatus. The sorbent in the adsorption membrane apparatus and the apparatus itself are prepared for a new cleaning cycle by blowing with air with a temperature of 80-85 ° C for (30 ± 5) minutes.

The utility model relates to methods for producing highly purified alcohols, particularly the production of ethyl alcohol. The obtained product is subsequently used in the food industry, medicine and veterinary medicine, in the production and operation of microelectronic devices and high-precision devices, in jewelry, etc.
