The microstrip narrowband filter contains a dielectric base, one side of which is metallized, and on the other side there is a signal conductor and two open loops galvanically connected to it, located on opposite sides of the signal conductor. The length of one of the loops is longer, the second – less than a quarter of the resonant wavelength. The wave impedances of the loops are smaller than the wave impedance of the signal conductor. The loops are adjacent to at least one section of the signal conductor with a length of half the resonant wavelength with a wave impedance greater than the wave impedance of the rest of the signal conductor.
