As a compression cuff and pressure sensor, a combined blood pressure sensor is used, which consists of two elements: an actuator (piezoelectric actuator) designed to create pressure on the artery, a piezoresistive sensor that detects the appearance / disappearance of pulsations on the walls of the artery.
