Microprocessor protection device of asynchronous electric motor is designed to protect three-phase asynchronous electric motors from emergency modes:
- a) loss of supply voltage in one of the phases;
- b) violation of the sequence of phases;
- c) increasing the current consumed by the electric motor in one or more phases above
- a valid value;
- d) increasing the asymmetry of the phases of the supply voltage above the permissible value;
- e) tightened starting of the electric motor;
- f) increase of transient resistance of contacts in power circuits, automatics, starters
Structural-functional and schematic diagrams of the device are developed. The layout components and operation modes were selected and checked in laboratory conditions, the microprocessor algorithm and operation program were developed, the laboratory sample was tested, the printed circuit board was developed in accordance with the circuit diagram of the device, sensors for measuring the amplitude of the input signals of the device were developed.
Market and Economic Attractiveness
New quality is obtained thanks to software and hardware. The functionality of the device allows it to be used as a control, for example, to turn off the electric motor when it goes into idle mode (pump electric drive, etc.). This device also supports blocking the next start of the electric motor after its emergency shutdown.
Main Advantages (Strengths) of the Device
- The device consists of an electronic unit, three sensors for measuring the load current in the phases of the electric motor;
- Indication of operating and emergency modes is carried out using LEDs, the output circuits of the device are connected to the circuit of the motor starter coil;
- Electric motor starter control without connection;
- The device is a self-learning microprocessor system for direct control of a three-phase electric motor.
