Method for producing hydrophilic polymers, wherein the monomer, polyvinyl alcohol, is mixed with a crosslinker in a dispersion medium, distilled water, at a temperature of 90 °C for 120 min, and copolymerized, after which the hydrophilic polymer is obtained by casting from solution into a mold. A low-temperature eutectic solvent of type III in the amount of 20±0.11 pts. wt. of the total weight of the reaction mixture is used as a crosslinker and an additional copolymer, and the copolymerization process is carried out for 2±0.1 hours at 80±2 °C
