A method for producing ceramic membranes for filtration water treatment, wherein a powdered mixture comprising a ceramic base, a powder-forming agent and a binder is mixed, formed by pressing, preheated and finally sintered to obtain the final product. The ceramic base consists of Silicon Carbide and Aluminum Oxide and its share in the mixture is 55 and 26 wt. %, respectively, the proportion of the powder-forming agent in the mixture is 10 wt. %, and the binder is borax (Na2B4O7-10H2O) and its share in the mixture is 9 wt. Preheating is carried out at a temperature of 95±2 °C for 30-60 minutes to remove moisture at a rate of 1 degree per minute. Further heating to a temperature of 350 ± 5 °C is carried out at a rate of 3 degrees per minute, from a temperature of 350 ± 5 °C to a temperature of 950 ± 10 °C is carried out at a rate of 2 degrees per minute, and final sintering is carried out by holding the mixture at a temperature of 950 ± 10 °C for 60-65 minutes. Self-cooling of the resulting membrane occurs naturally.
